University of Utah Health Plans is proud to be the new Medicaid behavioral health administrator for Summit County, beginning September 1, 2019. This is the first time one of the established Utah Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) providing medical care to a county’s residents has been chosen also to administer mental health and substance use services.

Healthy U Behavioral exists for ANY Medicaid-eligible Summit County resident, regardless of their medical coverage.

    If you live in Summit County and need help with mental health and/or substance use we have a team of nurses and social workers to get you get services.

    Justice Services

    Healthy U Behavioral will provide services for the Summit County Justice system, including the jail and Drug Court.
    These services include drug tests, therapy, group sessions, assistance with housing, employment and other basic necessities such as food and clothing.
    Medication Management is another service that may be provided, if necessary.
    Healthy U Behavioral will work with the police, sheriff, attorneys, judges, government agencies, non-profit organizations as well as therapists and clinicians in order to help individuals succeed at a better life.

    School Based Services

    Healthy U Behavioral will be providing behavioral health counseling in the schools in Summit County. 

    This counseling is to help students and families engage in healthy mental efforts and address issues such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, and anger. 

    It is important that individuals, especially our students, feel like they have someone they can talk to and trust.
