Healthy U is for Utah State Medicaid enrollees in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, Tooele and Utah Counties.
Below is a summary of some of the coverage benefits. For more information about coverage benefits obtain an Exploring Medicaid Booklet from your State of Utah Health Program Representative, or if you are a member check your Healthy U Member Handbook.
- Family Planning Services - information, counseling and treatments for birth control, and testing for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
- After Hours Care - doctors are on-call at night, weekends, and holidays
- Child Health Evaluation and Care - a special program for children up to age 21 that includes health services not covered for adults, such as regular check ups for poor eyeight and hearing and speech problems
- Health Education Classes - choose from over 30 FREE classes, including smoking cessation, weight loss, diabetes management and asthma control
- Interpretive Services (servicios de interpreta) - interpreters in any language over the phone or to meet you at your medical appointments
