Healthy U – Medicaid

Healthy U is for Utah State Medicaid enrollees in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, Tooele and Utah Counties. Choosing a Primary Care Provider (PCP) is not required, however, we strongly recommend you select one from your provider directory. Healthy U reminds you that you should only see providers listed in the directory.

Summary of Benefits

• Family Planning Services - information, counseling and treatments for birth control, and testing for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
• After Hours Care - doctors are on-call at night, weekends, and holidays
• Child Health Evaluation and Care - a special program for children up to age 21 that includes health services not covered for adults, such as regular check ups for poor eyeight and hearing and speech problems
• Health Education Classes - choose from over 30 FREE classes, including smoking cessation, weight loss, diabetes management and asthma control
• Interpretive Services (servicios de interpreta) - interpreters in any language over the phone or to meet you at your medical appointments
