World Class Service
University Health Care Plus is managed by the University Hospital with over 10,500 members. We have taken strides to make this plan more user-friendly. In an effort to offer world class service University Health Care Plus has eliminated the mandatory use of referrals to see a specialist and does not require members to choose a Primary Care Provider.

The Master Plan Document, with a complete description of benefits, is maintained at the University Health Care Plus administrative offices. University Health Care Plus subscriber's are now able to access and print an electronic version of their Explanation of Benefits. The EOB includes:
- Listing of processed claims detailing the provider
- The date of service
- Type of services rendered
- Amounts paid to the provider by the Health Plan
- Amounts for which the subscriber is responsible, i.e.:
- Copayments
- Co-insurance
