835/EFT Test Procedures: Step 2 - Testing Phase
After all EFT Request forms are returned to UUHP and the initial system updates are made, the testing phase will begin. During this time, you will continue to receive a paper check and paper remittance advice. In addition, UUHP will submit an 835 to UHIN and a pre-notification to the bank to verify the bank account information is correct. The testing phase will generally last for two check cycles. This allows the opportunity for you to compare your paper remittance advice to the 835 and verify they are balancing out to each other as expected. If issues are identified please contact the EDI Coordinator so potential problems can be resolved quickly. Once the testing cycles have been completed and validated the production phase can begin.
Please note that an 835 file will be created by trading partner and across UUHP's plans. The EFT's will be created by tax identification number and across UUHP's plans.
